Smoqued BBQ

"My wife and I shared the Carnivore’s Delight plate. Plenty of food for 2. Ribs, chicken, brisket, pulled pork and sausage were smoked to perfection. We added a side of slaw and cornbread which were also delicious."

"I never ever ever write reviews. I had to write this one - even though it's been 3 days since I visited Smoqued. This is the worst bbq and worst food I've ever eaten in my entire life. The ribs came out gray - looked boiled. No flavor. They tasted like they were boiled in smoky water. They were covered in fat. We also ordered wings. They came out a very odd, boiled gray color. My husband said they tasted like bad oysters. It was the most bizarre experience. All the sides (mac and cheese, potato salad, beans, and corn bread) tasted like something that was microwaveable. We arrived right as they were opening and they didn't seem prepared to serve food at the time. The cashier was very kind but the person in the back who was working with the food seemed frazzled and working alone. My husband and I both had a stomach ache shortly after we got home. I would never recommend this place and can't imagine it being in business much longer."

"I got Uber Eats delivery, and was thoroughly disappointed. The brisket and wings seemed like they were boiled. The beans weren’t seasoned well, and had an off flavor. The ribs and pulled pork were somewhat ok. I don’t know how this place survives in the south. It did deliver quickly though."

"Tired this place for the first time and it was alright. The ribs weren’t bad just needed a little more rub/ flavor. However, it did fall off the bone easily. I’ll give them credit for that! The sauces are pretty good you just have to figure out which one pairs best with what you ordered. The beans were really good. Hot! temperature-wise that it burned my tongue. But besides that, the flavor was there. The sweet potato salad was different because it's served cold. It wasn't half bad but again I think it depends on what meat it's paired with. The pulled pork was dry with no flavor and needed a lot of bbq sauce."
