"Visited family here with family in September and again in January. I really enjoyed this campground. Very quiet and friendly! I look forward for me next visit!"
"We did a drive through of this park to check out the campground to make sure that our unit would fit sufficiently in the campsites. it is a beautiful park. Very clean. They have a cute store there where you can buy souvenirs and Ice cream and sodas."
"Calhoun Falls State Park SC This is another spacious campground along the Savannah River between Sadlers Creek and Baker Creek State Parks. Its on Lake Russell and there are lots of nice wooded campsites on the lake. The restrooms were clean and have showers. There is a day use area, hiking trail, boat ramp and park office w/ gift shop. The camp sites had gravel and are nicely maintained w/ water, electric, fire pit and picnic table. They are spaced far enough apart that most offer some privacy. There are quite a few campsites that offer gorgeous views of the lake. BTW there is no waterfall in Calhoun Falls"
"We stayed in the primitive section, T1. T1 is very large, more private, & great views. It's 300 paces from the parking lot. Definitely a hike-in site. Picnic table is very dilapidated. T0 is also nice with more privacy. T6-8 are easiest access, but no privacy. T7 could launch canoe. Only 1 set of bathrooms for 14 tent sites, with no shower. You can purchase small firewood bundles from the park store, but we brought our own."
