"Absolutely fantastic! The menu is eclectic, but there's something for everyone. Take recommendations from your server, ours was Miracle and she really did a terrific job guiding us through the meal. The food is world -class and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, the sweet potato, shrimp and grits and the meatloaf Wellington. Desserts limited, only two choices, but the peach cobbler with homemade ice cream was incredible. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and that includes Cafe Bouloud and Lee Cirque in NYC."

"I actually had different breakfast plans when I was visiting Laurens, but so Rootimentary and decided I wanted to give it a try. So glad I did! "I finally had the opportunity to return to my hometown of Laurens to eat at Rootimentary on the historic town square. Every thing was fantastic from the minute my daughter and I walked in the beautiful restaurant. We were promptly greeted, seated in a cozy booth and received excellent service from our server Jamie. Our menu choices were the Bourbon Cider Glazed Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer and then we shared a side salad, Seared Scallops and Shrimp & Grits. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back. We had the chance to speak with the owner Caleb Satterfield and loved hearing most all menu items are locally sourced. Loved hearing his story and vision for the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and make a special trip to Laurens, SC to enjoy Rootimentary!"

"First time, but will not be my last. From the moment we arrived, our table of six was quickly greeted by Jamie who was a very attentive server throughout our meal. The food was excellent. Our entire table had something different and everyone was pleased to the point that we shared tastes of each others entrees. I travel frequently and have eaten at plenty of nice restaurants. I would place Rootimentary at the top of my favorites list. I’m very excited to find this type restaurant in Laurens."
