Reviews of Chipotle Mexican Grill
"I’ve went to this place twice and both times were horrible experiences. I ordered online an hour before close & after driving 25 minutes, we were told at the window that they had “ran out of food”. I wish we could’ve been told this a little bit sooner… Recently, we did another mobile order. After about 15 minutes we were at the time of pickup, and we still had to an additional 5-10 minutes. After we got our order, they had left our forks. I went inside to grab some & the atmosphere was pretty horrible. Workers seemed disgusted that I was asking for a fork. (I don’t think it was necessarily directed at me). There was one girl in there that was very nice and presentable, though. I don’t blame the workers, as they are probably not paid well. I think the problem starts with that & with poor management. The positive is that the food is great."
"First time I visited. It was shortly before noon. There was only 1 customer ahead of us so felt lucky we were ahead of crowd. Turned out there were 5-6 staff there. Half of them standing around doing mostly nithing. When asked for my order I said I would like the bowl advertised on TV as it looked good. Wait for it......I was told they didn't have any meat ready, would I like something else. No actually, but I am here so let me try what meat you have....chicken. I think either the owner of the franchise doesn't give a hang about the place or the staff doesn't. I don't know if this place worth a second chance or not. It sure doesn't live up to the commercials"
"Place seems to be hit or miss. Have come for dinner during the week and food was great; employee making food was attentive and proportions for a salad were spot on. Have come for dinner on a Friday and food tasted good, but employee was either half-asleep or baked; food proportions were way off and had to repeat everything 3 times. All the employees are nice enough and service is fast. Atmosphere is like going to an old school butcher shop - clean, simple, cold and sterile. Main parking lot is super small and complicated to navigate, but there is more spacious parking next to the building. (Picture attached is of the kid's quesadilla upon opening it)"
"I preface this by saying the workers inside are probably overworked and under paid. I recognize that and empathize as a former service worker. That being said, this bowl was supposed to be sour cream on the side. If the picture doesn’t do it justice, the whole order was sour cream, genuinely lol. Wouldn’t be an issue if I could have the reward replaced, but after 30 mins on chat support, the best they could do was a free drink. Insult to injury, I probably eat here like once a week and have for like a decade. I get it, there’s no such thing as a loyal customer anymore, but man this is just really bad and frustrating. Especially when this happens 50% of the time with carry out."
"The food here is good most of the time. every once in a while you can tell some of the ingredients have been sitting out for a while. I guess that's partly the nature of Chipotle though. The most annoying, and frankly hilarious thing is that they have menu items you cannot order in the store. Take the quesadilla for instance. If you would like a quesadilla, you can either order a kids version, or Go online and place your order. This means if anyone else comes into the store while you're trying to place your quesadilla order online, you will have to wait for the staff to finish serving them, before they will serve you, regardless of the fact that you were in the store first. A beautiful system that shows consideration to the customer."
