"Waited roughly an hour for a waffle. We were all done eating and had to wait forever just to get our waitress' attention because once she dropped the rest of our food, telling us the waffle got burnt and has to be remade, she vanished to other side of the diner never even looking in our direction again. All 3 of us were chaining our necks, staring at her across the dining room. We tried to get other server/cooks attention, and were either ignored or they just weren't aware of what is going on around them. When we Did finally get her attention, she made the excuse that she had a big group. We had already ordered before that group came in, and still they got all the attention and we were ignored. Then she had to ask for the waffle to be made, and they quickly brought one that was so barely cooked on the outside and nearly liquid inside. Totally inedible. The the cashier's credit, she took the waffle off the ticket, but come on, that was awful."

"We stopped while traveling from Florida. The food was basic Waffle House fare but was good. I tried the chicken hashbrown bowl and really liked it. What made this a great stop was the server. Her name was Liz. She was friendly, fast and professional. I watched her with other customers and she was the same. Her personality is so fun and she made this ordinary stop fantastic. If you stop in, ask for her and tell her hello from her non pork eating Alabama fan customer."
