"Great service! Both cooks/waitresses working there were friendly and timely. Waffle to go with diet syrup."
"Lanie and Jeff were awesome. I came to town to celebrate my birthday. They were welcoming, understanding and the food was delicious. Unit 7 is the best unit I’ve encountered so far. Customer service was a 10. I loved their energy!"
"It was very disappointing honestly! It was the 2nd time in a few weeks that I have been to the Waffle House and it's probably going to be my last I hate to say. For 1 the 1st time I went i was craving a waffle sandwich and so I went by and ordered 1 to go, only to get what you see in the picture, which to me looks NOTHING like a waffle! Is it just me? Or is this what you would expect to get after you ordered a WAFFLE sandwich?! I don't do it often, sooo! And I would have NEVER ordered this, I don't even like that kind of ham and I am NOT a hash brown person!! So I know it wasn't my mistake. So I took it back in to see if maybe I was given someone else order by mistake, but the girl said no that was a waffle sandwich. Which still has me scratching my head, lol. They don't listen anymore and they don't ask the usual questions that you should ask as someone is placing their order. This rings true over and over!! Another example is I went to Waffle House again last night, only to be disappointed again! Because I ordered the grand slam with sausage, because I love sausage with syrup and waffles! And that's why I ordered it, only to get to my car to see bacon. Any other time I might not complain because I love me some bacon. But not so much with a waffle. And on top of that I ordered a cup of ice for a drink i had in the car and IT STILL cost me almost $15.oo!! It was very frustrating!! I was mad but it was late and they were busy, so I was not going back in. I just won't go back!!"
"Everyone was really nice and helpful. A gentleman was seating people which went quickly. He helped the servers clean their tables and even swept underneath before seating anyone new. The food was great except the waffle. I didn't receive it until I was nearly done with my other food and it was not good at all. It didn't even look like the normal "Waffle House waffle" that's my only complaint though. Everything else and everyone was wonderful, and working hard!"
"Dad coming in with a delicious take on breakfast: Welcome to the Waffle House on Wade Hampton Boulevard, where breakfast is always served with a side of Southern charm. fter a morning here, I can confidently say that the Waffle House has earned its reputation as a breakfast haven. Let's start with the All-Star Special, a true MVP of the Waffle House menu. This meal is the ultimate breakfast platter, featuring a combination of eggs, bacon, toast, and of course, a waffle. The eggs over medium were cooked to perfection, with a warm and runny yolk that complemented the salty bacon and crispy toast. And the waffle? It was a true game-changer. Golden brown and crispy on the outside, yet fluffy and soft on the inside, it was the perfect vehicle for the sweet syrup and butter. But the true star of the show was the pecan waffle. This was no ordinary waffle, as it was loaded with crunchy pecans that added a delightful texture and flavor to each bite. It was a true homerun, and I found myself savoring every bite until the very last crumb. And let's not forget about the hash browns, which were scattered, covered, and smothered to perfection. These crispy and golden brown potatoes were the ideal side dish to the All-Star Special, adding a savory and satisfying element to the meal. Whether you prefer your hash browns smothered in cheese or covered in onions, the Waffle House has got you covered. Overall, my experience at the Waffle House on Wade Hampton Boulevard was a slam dunk. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you're a breakfast lover like me, then the Waffle House is a must-visit destination. So grab a seat at the counter, order up an All-Star Special and a pecan waffle, and enjoy the Southern hospitality that the Waffle House is famous for."
