Waffle House

"So I work in the hospitality industry and wanted something to eat on my way home after an 11 hour day running a restaurant. My girlfriend and I stopped off to order some food to take home since there aren't a lot of other options to eat at that time of night. We got our food and I started to pay. Our tab went from $24 and some change to a total of over $29. I asked why there was an increase and I was told that there is a 20% tax on Togo food. I looked at the woman working and told her that I can appreciate making sure that the staff got tips on Togo food, but that I wouldn't be subject to a false "tax" on food Togo. Wafflehouse management please correct your team on verbiage and also don't try and steal from guests."

"We love coming here. Folks working here are so kind, attentive and helpful. Food was excellent! My husband likes his eggs cooked wet, not dry or runny. They know how to scramble an egg! My omelet was perfect! Wait person kept coming back to refill our coffee. Again, meal was outstanding!"
