"Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a series of papers taped to the walls, covered in Spanish text. Regrettably, no English translations were provided, making it challenging for non-Spanish speakers like myself to comprehend the content. This lack of inclusivity and consideration for diverse clientele left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Moreover, our initial interaction with the staff further exacerbated the language barrier issue. The woman attending to us spoke exclusively in Spanish and made no attempt to communicate in English or offer any assistance to bridge the gap. This language barrier hindered effective communication, making the entire dining experience more challenging and less enjoyable. As we settled down, we were presented with menus predominantly written in Spanish. While the inclusion of pictures was helpful, the overall lack of English descriptions made it difficult to discern the different dishes on offer. Fortunately, my Hispanic friend was able to assist with translations, but it was disappointing to encounter such limited accommodation for non-Spanish-speaking customers. To make matters worse, our dining experience continued to decline as our food arrived. Despite placing our orders simultaneously, my dish was brought out promptly, while my friend's meal was significantly delayed. We patiently waited for over 15 minutes, growing increasingly hungry and concerned. When the food finally arrived, it was a disheartening sight. My friend's chicken was unrecognizable, completely burnt and deep-fried to the point of being inedible. The exterior was rock hard, rendering the meat dry and tasteless. The empanads my friend had ordered, which should have been a highlight of the meal, resembled more of a greasy quesadilla, further compromising the authenticity we had hoped for. Our experience dining at this Colombian restaurant was deeply disappointing and fell short of providing an authentic taste of Colombian cuisine. The language barriers, unwelcoming atmosphere, and subpar food quality created an overall unpleasant dining experience. As food enthusiasts eager to explore diverse culinary traditions, we had hoped for a memorable encounter, but sadly, we will not be returning to this establishment. Thank you your time."
"The place was clean and customer service was good but the food it's not like shown. The pupusas were more like arepas. We also ordered sopa de res, and the dish that came with smelled bad. The taste was decent, but the Vegetables rancid. Overall, it did not taste fresh. They only accept cash or zelle, and that's fishy to me. Everything was overpriced. Please think twice."
"Great food. Tucked beside a gas station. The place has a buffet style set-up or custom menu items. Dine in or to go. Empanadas & tacos were great. Recommend & return. Colombian, Honduran & Mexican style menu items."
"Food is absolutely delicious. Its a small place but service was good and portions were HUGE! Average plate is between $11-14. The only downside is that there is no kids menu. 2 or 3 kids could easily share a plate. We brought home tons of leftovers. We will be back again."
"Delicious food! Highly recommend. Very impressed with the good quality food, cooking, and service. Most of the staff speak only Spanish, but their menu has lots of pictures so you can always get what you want. The owner is fluent in English though and is there most of the time. He did a great job explaining their desserts to us. Overall, a great experience eating here."
