"I came in for the first time today and the cashier greeted me and looked so kind and polite he helped me understand what everything is on the menu and gave me his opinions on the food which is nice because they work there they know the food best I ordered a large south of the border with black beans with four garlic cilantro. The food was amazing the store was so clean and everyone was kind to me. I also asked the cashier his name was Nathan he is amazing and I will be coming back many times to an amazing restaurant I highly recommend going here."

"Ok first I would like to say that since this location has been open I have visited on several occassions. I ALWAYS order the same a cuban sandwich without pickles and regular plaintain. I at one point in the pandemic stopped visiting this location due to the inability to order the cuban sandwich due to my visits falling within one hour of close and the sandwich press being already off. I have had a busy week and decided to try Tropical Grille again and I am extremely happy that I did. I did visit earlier than i have in the past however my experience through the drive thru was wonderful as far as experience with staff. I ordered quickly and as expected but which doesnt happen often since covid at any drive thru the employee listened carefully and then repeated back my order correctly and then proceeded to give a total price which I appreciated as many drive thrus state simply to pull around. When i proceeded onward to the window I was greeted warmly by the employee. The employee smiled and did not act like i was inconviencing her when i paid in cash and also with change. The employee returned my correct change and my reciept and then indicated my food would be out when prepared. I checkes my reciept which indicated the employee's name was Yasmine. I go out through a drive thru around once a week maybe and I have to say that this young lady Yasmine provided a quality experience and attentiveness that i havent experienced since before COVID. I will definitely return just for the stellar window service. The only downside is while my sandwich was well constructed and ultimately delicious my sandwich was made incorrectly and had pickles the only thing i asked to be modified."

"Came through the drive thru, 7:30 p.m, my first time being at this restaurant, it took me a second to try to pronounce the steak bowl name which I decided not to get went for the south western bowl substitute the rice with lettuce...so for 10.00 I got a salad with guacamole and salsa from a jar...now if it was a fresh Pico de Gallo...it would have improved it a bit but because I'm low carb ..I have to watch what I order...my husband went with the classic bowl just yellow rice and a what looked like a scoop of cut up chicken for 8.50 it's not worth the price ...I ordered my son the roasted pork ...same thing a scoop of roasted pulled pork on a bed of white rice ...it was the saddest looking meal I've ever bought I payed a total of 30.00 for this ...and for 15.00 worth of food that I could have bought at the grocery store ...I will never ...ever go back to this restaurant ....first and last time ....so if you like unflavored meat n unflavored rice or plain rice this be your cup of tea ....but for me it's a hard pass...."

"It’s a local thing and honestly it’s okay. Kids never had it so decided to give it a try for lunch. Shrimp and rice dish was a 5/10. The steak, onions and rice was a 8/10. Place had plenty of seating and was fairly clean for a lunch time rush."

"The worst experience ever! The quality of the food was terrible, most of it anyway. We ordered kids chicken tenders & fries (this was fine), regular vegetarian bowl (this was fine) and 2 south of the border bowls (regular and large, they were trash). The chicken was cold in both of the bowls, I know it's kept in a warmer but there is no way that the chicken was at the correct hot holding temperature that is safe for consumption. They remade the 2 bowls for us even though I was apprehensive about it. They fixed the bowls and took it to the back to add "fresh" chicken I guess. The chicken was probably placed in a microwave because it came hot but also dry and chewy. At this point we gave up! We did not eat the second bowls and threw everything away. At least my kids enjoyed their food. Also worth mentioning, Jalapeño sauce dispenser did not work. The bathrooms were not clean, had no soap or toilet paper on the rolls in one of the stalls even though on the door it said that the bathroom was checked by an employee and everything was good. My husband had to get me soap from the men's room so that I could wash my hands. That should have been our sign to leave right then an there. We normally go to the Pelham road location so I know what the quality of food should be like and this was not it! **EDIT** I was told to reach out by the owner, I thought that was great and I did. No response!"
