"Our first visit was yesterday, the ribs wear very good but barely warm, the brisket was cold and fatty. The beans wear very good, the cake was good, I do plan on going back, I will just have to ask them to heat up the food. The bronze wicks stew was ok if you like that kind of thing. The guy up front ask I told him about it he just said sorry, why ask if you're not going to do anything about it?"

"The food has gotten so much better. The brisket is a definite must, and it doesn't even need sauce. We had the ribs tonight and they were excellent. The sides are good. I really like the slaw and stew. I do wish there were more options for sides like some of the other BBQ places we visit but still very good. The service can be slow, and they rarely come back around to check on you, but they are nice. It is good to finally have at least one good restaurant in Toccoa, which is something this town lacks. Definitely give them a try."

"Excellent BBQ served by great people in modest accommodations. Admittedly, I had no preconceptions about this place, nor did I know what "stew" as a side meant; nevertheless, it was very tasty. Prices are great, portion size plentiful, and the experience is priceless."

"This is one of the best BBQ places in the South. BBQ pork is perfect, smoked very well. Stew is the best, a perfect example of Brunswick stew. Slaw is the way should be, little on the mayo and fine chopped. The sauces are outstanding, mild, hot, extra hot, rib and chicken sauces. Now the service is outstanding, Southern hospitality to its best."
