"We enjoyed biking here for the first time. Paved end to end. Elevation and scenery changes for interest. Nice restrooms in parks at each end. I gave it 4 out of 5 because we almost got run over while crossing over from East Doodle Park to the Easley downtown connector, in spite of having the right of way. Also, I was very surprised that there were no bike racks in downtown Easley, other than a small one by the Karma ice cream shoppe ( which had a big selection of delicious, reasonably priced ice cream, BTW)."
"Very nice trail to walk and bike on. Truly a hidden gem in Easley. Great country views. Not overcrowded as the swamp rabbit trail can get. And it's challenging too a few good long hills to go up. Fun going down too! I like the area I posted a couple photos of here. It's close to the park in downtown Easley. It's a nice shady tree tunnel!"
"We live off this trail and use it every day for walking, dog walking, and cycling. It's wonderful from end to end. It runs between Pickens and Easley, which both offer farmer's markets, shopping, and great restaurants. I love the Doodle Trail!"
"I use to walk the Doodle Trail towards Pickens, until it opened going in the direction of downtown Easley. It was a little creepy walking in the opposite direction. That area is real woody, the other direction takes you toward Wilbur Street. I’m familiar with that area of the Doodle Trail because I grew up there. Some of my old neighbors still live there and my dad’s house is still there. I like to walk in the morning if I’m not working. There are still some shaded areas, but when it’s to hot or in the 90’s, I walk inside a facility. There’s a play ground, picnic tables, restrooms and water fountains for you and your pet. For a nice place to get your walk on, check out the Doodle Trail."
