"The dog park is owned by the church and they never posted on line that between 5:15 and 7:15 it’s for Grayhound only. which I would have gone to another park if it would have said that. An old man with his face all black and blue came up to us and said it’s Grayhound only. It appeared like he was waiting for us to park to start something. I said we just drove 12 hours from Florida and I just wanted to let him (my lab who normally plays with greyhounds ) run around a bit. Then he started to raise his voice saying he’s been coming here for 25 years and we can’t go in. Then he told me we could use the little dog side with my 96 lb lab. so after driving 12 hours, with a lab in the car we let him run around a 20 x 30 enclosed area. Which I was ok with but why the aggression ? I wasn’t being nasty or fighting with him. Then I realized that they were pointing at us and staring. This was creepy. Like a horror movie. So we left. Scary people. We never treat visitors to our parks like that."
"I just moved back after 12 yrs in AZ. Found this dog park for my client’s service dog. He is an 11 month old Weinmarener and he loves this park! Lots of dogs to play with, water dishes spread around for them to drink, lots of space to run and play, even a few wading pools for them to cool off in. All sponsored and provided by the church whose property it is. Marvelous! Thank you so much!!"
"Great park to let ur furry friend run free without a leash. Roomy and comfortable for 2 legged folks, as well. My Enjay loved it and we’re definitely going to return."
"We always have an amazing time at this park. Not only is it amazing for your babies but the community that you can find at this park is one of a kind. Edgewood church treats us really well. Come on a Saturday around noon to have a lot of doggie friends for your baby, and a lot of two legged friends for you!"
"This park is perfect for my pups. Big, social, hyper dogs and so much space to play in! I really love that you can easily keep an eye on your dog from anywhere in the park. It’s not shaded really at all, although there is a shady spot with picnic tables to sit and for the dogs to cool off. There are kiddie pools, which my girls love. The people that hang out here are usually pretty great, and responsible pet owners as well. Lots of grass too so they don’t get too crazy dirty."
