"Staff member that I spoke with today was very unprofessional. My mother is in the hospital in another city and she asked me to call and make a payment for her. I called and explained to the lady that my mom was in the hospital and my mom asked me to call and make a payment. She asked for my mom information and then asked if I wanted to use the card on file. I proceeded to ask her what was the balance and she told me. I said to her that my mom said it was a different balance, less than the amount the lady told me, so I told her I would have to ask my mother if she wanted me to pay the new balance. The staff member then tells me that she is not authorized to share information from my mom’s account but she had already told me the balance and was ready to take payment until I questioned the balance. She then said “if your mom could call you, she can call us.” My mom just had a tracheal resection and has a trach in place and still hospitalized from this procedure, so she can talk but not much. She’s recovering from throat surgery so for that staff member to say something like that so rudely was very unacceptable. People in customer service need to be mindful of how they speak to the people that’s doing business with them. I think that was very rude of her. I thank God I’m not in the position to need their services and if I am ever placed in a position where I need a loan or any other service like that, I will never go to world finance. Please consider doing a refresher course on excellent customer skills with your team."
