"This beauty was truly a hidden gem! Short hike too! There is no marked parking nor was the trail start marked.. The actual trail was much wider than the game trail we were exploring haha! So let me help those who could possibly end up on a game trail.. START RIGHT BESIDE THE GUARD RAIL and walk towards the creek.. TURN LEFT to follow the trail DOWN STREAM.."
"Nice quick walk/hike to falls. Good for people with young kids. The easy entrance is on Brookbend Rd. Right at the bridge. There is a trail leading to the falls from the middle of the bridge."
"Beautiful relatively easy hike. Definitely a hidden gem, with nice swimming hole at base of falls."
"Beautiful cascading falls at the end of a fairly easy hike. You can hear the creek along the trail, peaceful views and sounds. The trailhead is a bit confusing because it’s unmarked. It starts at the bridge guardrail and wanders along beside the creek. There wasn’t anyone else on the trail, made for a nice and quiet Sunday afternoon. Well worth the time, go check it out!"
"The best I can do is an average rating here. Why? Well, you have to wear blinders to not see the overhead power lines and cleared vegetation around the falls. There are numerous thorned bushes lining the path that snag on your hiking clothes. The parking area is really just shoulder on the side of the road with no signage. No signage on the trail either. People... clean up after your dogs!! Yes, the falls are pretty enough, but that didn’t make up for the rest of the issues."
