"This place is not worth the time. I spent more money for a deposit and the room was cut long but not spacious compared to the Aloft and Homes 2 Floor plan same size room just cut different. The carpet had duct tape. Ac smelled like mold and it was ghetto. The service desk was great middle-aged woman."

"Front desk is terrible. Nasty attitude. They dancing and singing in the lobby late at night. My husband came in from going to the store and was like we are never staying here again. Now listen,.. it was a shock to me because he’s retired Military and can handled more than me (I’m also a government employee). The rooms are terrible. The decor is nice, but this hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Can’t use the wall sockets because something was broken off in it, dirty halls, some stuff molding, just sad. Also, they charge a $100 convenience fee if you live out of state and a $250 Convenience fee if you live in state. Plus they take 3-5 business days to return it if you use a debit card. This is stupid, and customers should know this ahead of time. The convenience fee is way too high and it is not known ahead of time. I booked on the app and I told the lady this (guess she’s the manager). She asked if I booked online and I said no, on the app. She was like it’s on there because I told them to add it. So I asked her to show me, she took forever to find it, but she didn’t find it on the app, she pulled it up online. Well, I booked on the app and she still couldn’t show me where it was on the app. On top of that, I had just booked the room like 15 minutes earlier, and had not checked in. I asked her if we cancel, would be still be charged? And of course the answer was yes. So we had no choice but to stay here. Checked out that morning and will not utilize this hotel ever again. Breakfast was the best part of this stay. But we still won’t be back."

"Very clean rooms. Pleasant lobby. All the members of the staff I've dealt with are very friendly. My investment broker comes to town once a month and never stays any where but here since he loves it so much.."

"NO SHUTTLE: No free shuttle from the airport. That was the main reason I wanted to give a review. Please do not advertise this on your website if it's not true. GYM IS OK: Collection of dumbells, yoga balls, running machine, biking machine (sitting), elliptical (lopsided). There was no water in the water machine. The first time I stayed here was iffy. The remote didn't work upon arrival. The second time I stayed here was better. I don't know if it would have been my first choice if I stay in the area again."

"The best part of this hotel is the location. You are 12 minutes no traffic to downtown Charleston. You are literally 1 minute from the freeway. The rooms… Its an older hotel throughout the building but the rooms are kinda updated. They have updated the furniture and bedroom. Yet the bathrooms need new furniture. This place isn’t the cleanest but it’s manageable. Just think you are going to a cousins house that may not be the cleanest. At first glance its clean then you notice the mold and dirty floor boards. I cleaned my room again once I arrived yet I think they are under staffed that happens alot these days. The staff there are great and doing the best they can. This one man was doing four different jobs but had a smile on his face. i would stay here if you want a cheap place to lay your head. there’s no frills just a room."
