"Oh my Lord! I’ve lived in Summerville since 2009 and somehow I haven’t ever eaten at this Subway. After my visit here tonight I won’t be going to any other location except this one! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the lobby was clean and sparkling as were their cutting boards they prepare the food on. Everything just looked and smelled so clean, including their restroom. It’s obvious cleaning and maintaining a sanitary environment is important at this location. I dined in at 8pm on a Friday and the Italian bread was sooooo fresh. I wasn’t expecting that since it was late night but they surprised me. I got a veggie sub with just lettuce tomatoes and pickles but it was soooooo good. The best subway sandwich I’ve had in God knows how long. I can’t remember. Got a large soda and the fountain drink station was squeaky clean as well. I’m pregnant and picky and this trip was just such a nice change from all the subpar dining experiences around this town as of late. Thanks y’all!"
"4 stars because the restaurant is always clean and almost always has the double chocolate chip cookies freshly baked and ready to order. they don't skimp on the ingredients like some of the franchises do. im knocking off a star because the staff and service can vary wildly. sometimes i can go in and get the perfect sandwich, other times like today, the workers can be inattentive and a little inaccurate. for example, they forgot to ask me if i wanted my sub toasted until after all the veggies (which would have been terrible hot) were added. i asked for "oil, no vinegar" but got a generous dousing of vinegar anyway. the time before that, i requested light mayo on my sub but ended up scraping it off with my napkins bc they added so much! still, im rating 4 stars because these experiences (so far) tend to be the exception rather than the rule. they haven't seen the last of me."
"Ordered online, for the first time, go in and there were 3 customers, 2 had already been taken care of. 4 workers, 3 at counter. Was looking around for the area to pick up. I found it and walked to it, and was trying to figure out if my order was there. The what seemed to be the manager asked what I needed, then asked my name, I told her, and then she looked at me like I was stupid or something, and shook her head yes as if to say thats yours. I grabbed the bag, and walked out. After having to walk back to the back of the store due to them having the parking lot replaced, I remembered I had ordered a meal, and I forgot my drink. I went back in and got it. Later after getting home, and being frustrated by the attitude in the store, I went to get the cookies, I had with the meal, I realized that they weren't in the bag. I tried 6 times to call the store and no one answered. It just rang 10 or so times, and hung up. I don't live close to this store, had been to the Dr's office and was Hungary, so I stopped for pick up. I doubt they would remember me to get my cookies the next time I went by. But who would have thought they would forget them with the receipt taped and sealed bag."
"I visited this Subway yesterday. I ordered the pizza with one employee, and her cocky manager took over my order before even asking if I needed anything else. He had airpods in his ears, first problem. Smh. Before even greeting me, he put my pizza in the oven, took it out and I let him know that I wanted more toppings. He proceeds to tell me there is nothing he can do because it was already warmed. I let him know that there was so much going on that he didn’t give me time to tell the order. He was rushing his employees for no reason, only to get my order wrong. So I tell him what toppings I want on my pizza, RAW toppings. He then proceeds to make my sandwhich for my husband, but instead of listening to my order, he’s too busy asking if the customer behind me is with me, TWICE, and asking me about other toppings that I didn’t ask for on the sandwhich. I had to go home and finish warming the pizza. Stop being rude to your employees and rushing them when it’s not even a packed establishment. Let them do the orders because they actually can provide good customer service unlike yourself. Take out those airpods and actually listen to your customers. I won’t be returning."
