"This company is usually very responsive and helpful, but recently we had to move our policy due to a large discount for bundling elsewhere. The agent who was supposed to handle our cancellation at 1st Capital forgot to send in the cancellation request. After two weeks my mortgage company called and said that there are two active policies and asked what to do. I then contacted 1st Capital and was told by the agent it got sent in a little bit late but I should receive our check for escrow shortly. This was ,unfortunately, not true as I had just verified with the carrier that the policy had never been cancelled. I can no longer recommend a company that would drop the ball and then say something untrue to try to cover it up. Very disappointed as I do think they were good with everything prior."
