"DO NOT USE WOW INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER!!!! I canceled my WOW service due to selling my residence and turned in my WOW equipment at this location at the unmanned drop box. They lost my equipment and never let me know it wasn't turned in. I had my bills on autopay. I never received a call, email, or letter in the mail stating they didn't receive my equipment. This site lost my equipment I turned in and turned around and sent me to collections without ever letting me know. I found out when I looked at my credit report that I was sent to collections due to missing equipment and said it was $436. I make good money and would have paid for the equipment they said was missing in order to keep from going to collections. I used to have a perfect credit score of 850. When I called to inquire how they reached out to me to inform me of owing money and being sent to collections, they said correspondence was mailed on April 2023, which was 2-3 months after I had moved from that residence (Yes, I added forwarding address with Post office after my move). Anyhow, this shady company never reached out to me, lost my WOW equipment I turned in, and ruined my perfect credit. I tried to get a lawyer to sue them and was told unless I had a copy receipt of turning in my equipment I had no case. (He said/she said) I ended up going ahead and paying the money to still have this stain on my record. End of story, never use WOW internet services because they are a horrible company with zero accountability and zero integrity. Don't chance them ruining your account, your credit, or misplacing your equipment. I have put in several disputes and they have been very uncooperative."
"Avoid this company. WOW is trying to charge us for "missing equipment" after we canceled service. We have the FedEx receipt from when we returned their modem in their box, yet they claim their "warehouse" cannot find it. They won't let me talk to anyone in their warehouse. Furthermore, these are at most $50 modems yet they want us to pay over $200. This is as shady a business practice as it gets."
"They don't deserve a one star rating. This companies' equipment is flawed. They knew and still charged customers for faulty equipment. Now they are stopping their streaming services and recalling all the equipment. They tried to please me by telling me I would have a 7 day window to try YouTube Tv and after that period of time I could make the decision to stop services. I agreed. They cut off my cable immediately. Stay away from this company, seek alternatives."
"Wow has got to be one of the worst providers in the game. Not only do they change customers information, like log in credential, charge hidden fees on items for repairs that are the company's fault. They will charge you for the smallest things. The customer service reps don't ever know anything but they do know how to take your money and threaten to remove your services, customer retention is a concept that eludes this band of fools. If Internet/WiFi is necessary for work, I caution you in the most severe way to leave this company alone, your business will fail trusting this company to provide your services. Oh and that 1 star only exists because there is no option for a zero. Use this company at your own risk. You've been warned."
"Internet service is fine, however this month we were charged twice for monthly service, including a fee for fixing a downed line. Billing was able to give us a credit for only the amount charged. Refunds would take up to 4 weeks. Luckily we have the means to cover this billing problem but take notice if you are zero-dollar budgeting."
