"I’ve been involved in an accident and the only thing SC lawmakers have done is insure that I couldn’t get anything. The entire system is a scam! I will be moving out of this state ASAP. I was born here and I know what it was like before they started working with the insurance companies. I also remember the campaign to change the rules for insurance companies( late 90’s). What we have now is just plain ridiculous! So we are forced to buy insurance from a company but the laws are written to protect them from paying us! "What exactly does this department do. I filed a complaint against my homeowners insurance. Who was clearly not operating under good moral standerds at the least. Dept. of Insurance said they couldn't do anything. Months later I had to higher a Public Adjuster concerning the same claim. The adjuster broke the contract and is demanding more money before releasing my check. Still the Dept. of Insurance says they can't do anything. Unbelievable"
