"I usually order and pick up the colostomy supplies for my father who is 83 years old and for the last few months the pharmacy has been billing my father $3.40 co-payment which amount has to be paid by his second insurance. Well, yesterday I went to pick up this month's supplies, a gentleman of about 120 years old who works in the medical supplies area tells me that I have a balance and for the 20th time I tell him that the deductible and co-payment is $0 because My father has 2 health insurance. and the very rude 135 year old gentleman tells me that why I am crying to pay $13 that amount is nothing, that the pharmacy is giving my father ostomy supplies that cost $200 to $300 a month and I am crying to pay $3.40 per month, that if I don't pay they will not give my father any more supplies. and on the month of July the same 140 year old gentleman only gave my father half of the supplies with the commitment to call me in 2 days to pick up the the other half, a call I never received, but they did bill the $200 to $300 to my father's insurance. In short, I believe that whether he is an employee or the owner of the pharmacy, the 154-year-old gentleman must know how to relate to people and have empathy. and of course taking the pills for senile dementia. I feel very sorry for the young man who is helping that 200 year old gentleman because he is working in a hostile environment (I called the insurance and they told me that it was not my responsibility to pay what they were charging me)"
"I was a customer here for years, loved the friendly atmosphere, my kids loved the lollipops, everyone was so polite, sweet, and professional! Until today, however, when an employee called me a choice obscenity in the parking lot in front of my child because he said I parked too close to him, and "sorry" was not enough for him. I got the impression that this older gentleman might have been a couple pills short of a zpack, if you catch my drift; He stood behind my car to block me from leaving because he was not done lecturing me on how "disrespectful" my parking was and recorded me as I backed out to leave, all the while as I tried to explain to him my parking was not a personal vendetta. The staff was made aware of their employee's harassment and generally bizarre behavior, and did nothing. They concluded that there's no way this could have occurred because this particular employee "doesn't cuss." My husband was asked to leave when he arrived to discuss the matter with the older gentleman, who then claimed I hit his car, but then changed his mind after my husband asked to look at the damage. You can't make this stuff up. We try and support small businesses when we can, and North Augusta has proven to have many hidden gems. I would expect this type of thing in some remote, podunk town along a long stretch of highway, but not in the heart of North Augusta. There were definitely employees I looked forward to seeing at Parks, but after this I will leave my prescriptions to the big dogs who take professionalism and competency seriously, please and thank you!"
"I have been using this pharmacy my whole life. Staff is so kind and professional. Most of the staff I grew up with. Good local business!"
"If I could get away with never going back to this pharmacy again I would. Unfortunately my son needs to eat. I went to Parks 3 weeks ago to order my sons prescription formula, the lady ordered it and took my name and number down and said it should be in the following Monday. Because she took my number down, I assumed they would be calling me, no one ever did. I tried to call multiple times but was answered by a machine and when I pressed 1 to leave a voicemail, I was told it was an invalid entry. I go in today to see if my sons formula came in, I try to go through the drive through because I have my 4yr old as well as my 3mo old with me. Im instructed to come inside. I come inside and go to the front where an older gentleman rudely states that the lady that orders the formula has just walked away. I express that I ordered the formula 3 weeks ago. I explain the issue with the phone and am told that they have 8 phone lines so they don’t know why it would do that, as if Im lying. I tell him I was waiting for a phone call and he then tells me that they dont have phone numbers associated with the card, I tell him that the lady took my name and number down when I came in to order. He proceeds to ignore me when I say that. When we finally get checked out, Im carrying a carseat, a box of formula, and a can of formula. Im trying to get out of the door and theyre all just staring at me. I finally get their extremely heavy door open, and my fingers slip because Im carrying so much, at this time my daughter is trying to go through the door and gets smacked in the face. Theyre all still just standing there staring at me. I finally get the door open and am holding it with my foot and a worker FINALLY comes and offers to hold the door as Im already holding it open and my daughter has already been smacked in the face so hard that she has a red mark on her face. Ive never experienced such a rude and unprofessional environment in my life."
"Hello, I was disappointed when I visited last month. The commercial showing great customer service did not apply. When I walked in, do one acknowledged me as a potential customer. I asked the person near the pharmacy area, who pointed out one of the two ladies that I had passed by. Sadly, because of the non friendly air, I did not want to bother them. However, I did make a purchase of an ugly colored stocking, which was too tight. Poor/ no customer service. It must have been a bad day for all!"
