"This place is usually on the slow side compared to other McDonald's and I hate the twin drive thru lanes that require you to merge back into a single lane causing line cutting and other issues with other customers. Having said that the food here is always pretty good. McDonald's strives for consistency not excellence and they are very consistent. The food is the perfect McDonald's version. Nothing stand out but not old or greasy or anything like that. I guess you could say this McDonald's is "safe" as far as ordering food. You won't be blown away but it's always fresh and hot and not bad. I hope this makes sense but basically it's decent food made greatly. They uphold the corporate standard and you know exactly what to expect."
"I honestly don't review a lot of McDonald's, but it's rare that you visit one these days where people actually seem to care. This one still has retired locals who clearly frequent it and are known to the staff by name. I also saw the woman behind the counter have a lengthy conversation (nobody was waiting) with someone who was clearly a tourist about what they were going to do that day. Kudos to the Travelers Rest McDonald's."
"The guy who took our order was so nice and polite. He really went out of his way to help us! Opening doors, lots of please and thank yous. It was refreshing. Soda was fresh and fries were hot."
