They tend to have very good prices since they don’t process insurance but will send notification to them on your behalf so you can be reimbursed. Very modern and efficient office."

Barely any wait time, but I did show up 10 minutes before scheduled appointment. My dental hygienist Alyssa was fabulous. I’ve never experienced such a thorough examination and cleaning. "I moved to Bluffton from CA a year ago and came from an established upscale dental office that I stayed with for nearly 30 years. They are superb. I even dropped by for a cleaning earlier this year while on vacation. I was doubtful if I could find an office that I would love so much here in SC. Oh my goodness! I found Palmetto Dental Arts from a Google search and their wonderful reviews. I have a complicated dental history (4 times in braces, vaneers, a tooth replacement, surgeries..). I wanted an office that could accodate much, if not all, my dental needs. The building is beautiful, and the landscape is well maintained. The interior is well decorated and welcoming. There is a coffee bar with an unusual and tasty selection of coffees and chilled water available for the takingthe bathroom was immaculate. Amber at the desk checked me in, and we chatted for a short time. Nicole took me back within a few minutes to the exam room. I had recently had spinal surgery, and Nicole made sure she helped me sit and offered me pillows or anything I needed. She lowered the chair so carefully I wasn't in any discomfort. She talked about the practice, her position, and her family. She explained what the visit would entail - xrays, the exam, gum measurements, and cleaning. Everything was said in a relaxed and confident manner. The dentist came in afterward, Dr. Wolters. How personable and knowledgeable! We discussed my past dental issues, my current status and made sure I knew if I had any concerns, he would be available with a simple phone call. He even gave me information on a nighttime appliance that may help with my sleep apnea. I was so pleasantly surprised at the friendly, confident, and competent individuals at this location that I can't say enough good things. South Carolina is, overall, such a sweet experience. I wasn't sure after living in the greater Los Angeles area for my entire life how "the South" would feel. I have been welcomed on all sides. Certainly a truth here at Palmetto Dental Arts."
