Harbor Island Beach & Racquet Club

"It's pretty, but do not rent. I rented this place for my reception after being married on the beach, and I was only allowed to have a 25 minute reception. For close to $300, I expected more out of here. I go to Harbor Island weekly, but renting the River Room ruined one of the biggest days of my life. My family drove 13+ hours to celebrate my marriage with my husband, kids, and I, and all we had time to do was pick up the decorations we just placed."

"If you like a little more laid back type of vacation. Just Watching the tide roll in and out this is your place. Have stayed in several different units all very nice. My only complaint is the walkways are kinda narrow so hurling your beach gear can be harder than it should be. However this a minor thing. Book a rental you will love it."

"The little shop (Turtle’s Nest) was wonderful and very kind to us. Pool was great. Had a shaved ice truck not far, and bring in food and treat trucks from time to time."

"Nice pool. A playground for children. Exercise rooms are adequate for most people, but not enough weight for stronger lifters. Aerobic room has good machines and anyone from beginner to very fit can get a good workout. It would be nice to have an upright stationary bike though. Overall a good family area too."
