"I have been going to this practice for 15 years. I could not get an appt for 3 months and when I requested that they send my records (which I have paid for and belong to me) to a new dental practice, they insisted i come in person to sign a release. I explained that I lived over 3 hours away and asked if there was another way they stated that in person was the only way to sign a waiver. I found their manner to be extremely rude and unhelpful. They need to have an alternative method for transferring records."
"Kim, Front Office receptionist is dimissive. You may provide a contact number for me to call if interested to discuss"
"Super positive experience even from calling to make an appointment. Ms. Cathy who works in the office staff loaded my insurance into my profile as a new patient, got me in quickly, and even estimated costs for my appointment. She even walked in to see me to say hello! Dr. Latour did a very comprehensive exam and was willing to chat with me about my findings. She was very reassuring and made this a very anxious experience calming and comprehensible. Very good staff and quality of patient care!"
"I am looking for a new dental clinic. I do not want to return to a place with so much negative energy and so little empathy for patients. Due to a series of unavoidable events during the day, I was late for my appointment. They checked me in anyway, but when I was heading to the back, three staff people were standing together talking about a late patient. They were clearly angry. One woman said, "She's almost twenty minutes late? That's disrespectful to the doctor!" They glared at me as I walked by. I understand them being annoyed that I was late, but they didn't need to be nasty about it. I really feel that they took my lateness personally and disliked me for it, and I don't want to put my care in the hands of people who dislike me. Their hatefulness just made a bad day worse."
"The staff is very nice and I was happy with my first visit and I am hoping that my surgery goes well. Though its a little concerning that I might not be able to contact them if I have questions or concerns post operation because No one will answer the phone. I was on hold for well over an hour (not exaggerating). When I finally made contact I begged the lady not to transfer me and put me on hold again but she explained that they were short handed and she would try to notify the Oral surgery department to pick up the phone. They must be short handed every day because it does not matter what day or time you call you will not get through and do not fall for that "call back" service they offer its a trap. No one will call you back. I understand it is a large university with a large flow of patients and I understand having to wait I'm not that unreasonable but if it weren't for the glowing recommendation from my father about how awesome the staff is and how well they did on his teeth I would have gone somewhere else. The staff is very nice and the facility is nice. I plan to go in 2 hours early in hopes of getting to talk to someone in person rather than try to call again. I will edit this review after my surgery . Based on other reviews they do good work they just need more staff on phone duty."
