"We called captain Mike at the last minute to see if he had time for a charter on Monday morning. Luckily he had a spot because we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are fairly experienced fisher people so we hoped for the best without understanding what to expect or the area. Captain Mike arrived early and was ready to pull out at our designated time. We went to one of his favorite spots to start and found it was absolutely bustling with fish. I have never seen anything like it. We threw in and proceeded to catch constantly for the next 2 hours. Threw the line out, 3-4 bites, and fish on nearly every time. It was so much fun and we learned quickly that bluefish love the fight which made the experience even better. After seeing the biggest sea turtle of my life and landing over 15 fish a piece, we moved in to go shark fishing. At this point I hoped for the best but once again didn’t have much expectation because I figured it might be the luck of the draw. With 2 hours left in our charter, both my husband and myself caught 2 big sharks a piece and I landed a nice sized stingray. It was definitely a trip to remember an captain Mike made it even better. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, nice, helpful, hardworking guide, you can look no further. If we’re coming back through this area we know who to call. Literally could not have hoped for a better day on the water."
