"Really wanted to hold out on writing public review, my sister that I care for is currently getting orthodontic treatment here.. which is not cheap by any means. We’ve gotten appointments randomly changed without anyone ever letting us know. 3 times have I drove 50 minutes to come to this office to get turned away. And then when I had to reschedule an appointment after she tested POSITIVE for literal Covid, I was told we’ve missed to many appointments we are at risk of getting dismissed from the practice. I said how…? This is the first we’ve rescheduled an orthodontic appointment ever in the 8 months she’s gotten treatment. We had to reschedule 2 hygiene appointments due to an insurance lapse that we were unaware of. Manager said we’ve missed or rescheduled 9 appointments I said that is most definitely not true. I am a business professional and keep every email, call log, and driving records for my business so can easily prove their dishonesty. 38 weeks pregnant getting very uncomfortable but take her to her appointment yet again today, get to the office today and now suddenly they aren’t taking orthodontist appointments on this day.. have tried several times to contact Me. I go through my call, text and email logs and not one single call or anything from them. Last email I had was directly With the orthodontic manager and was confirming the last appointment. I guess I could go as far as getting the logs directly from my phone company if need be but definitely will not be doing my orthodontia treatment here as I was planning on doing will be going somewhere else for sure.. it’s to expensive to be dealing with this stress of appointments. There has been issues the whole year with our family going here."
"I had to change health insurance plans for 2024 because the plan that I had in 2023 wasn't going to be offered in 2024. My present plan didn't have dental so I chose a plan that had a dental plan that paid 50% with no deductable. The dentist near my home had done a panoramic x-ray, and was going to fill 5 cavities for $875. So, I chose Creston Dental because they were in my network thinking ti would be less out of pocket since insurance was paying half of it. I ended up paying $1065.42 for my half. They filled 3 one day and 3 another day. The first day the dentist said she didn't see one surface that needed filling, so, they charged me an extra $39.42 for my part. The next time they said they didn't see another cavity that was right in the front and charged me extrto fill it. They said they filled 6 cavities. So, between me and the insurance company, it was a total of $2130.84 for 6 fillings. That is an average of $355.14 for each filling. That sounds like an exorbitant amount to me. They did ask on the second visit, after I told them how much cheaper I could have had it done, if I wanted to have the rest done at the other dentist. I told them to go ahead that I just wanted it over with. It was a costly decision for me to do that. So, I take the blame for that. Some of them weren't very big. I had already checked the cost at other offices and none of them were anywhere near that costly, but, they weren't in my network."
"I’ve been coming here most of my life. Since I’ve turned 18 they’ve always allowed my mom back there with me. I’m almost 21 and in April they allowed my mom to go back with me. But when I bring my husband it’s always an issue. I have really bad anxiety which I’ve been diagnosed with. I will not get anything other than a cleaning done without him because of that anxiety. They never question it when it’s my mom. I asked the doctor last time if my husband could come back and he said yes. The doctor himself don’t care. He allows my husband back there with me. The nurses or whatever they are will not allow him back with me. I’ve also got my braces through this location and that was a bad experience in itself. They never could keep a dr there and I was always getting new doctors and my plan changed which I feel is the reason why my teeth didn’t stay like they should’ve. I wouldn’t waste your time."
"I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. I'm giving Creston one star because there isn't a lower option. They were unprofessional, disorganized, never followed through on their promises, and provided the very bare minimum for patient education. I've never encountered a more unprofessional and uninvolved facility. They wouldn't see my daughter for her first appointment because they rescheduled her without telling us. When I showed the woman at the desk my appointment confirmation, she was quite rude when she told me my daughter's appointment had been rescheduled and she wouldn't be seen that day. We drove to their office only to be turned away and told that we had missed an appointment we didn't know we had. When I spoke to their customer service about this issue, they stated they could provide me with a satisfaction survey that I never received. Creston rescheduled us again. When we went for our second appointment, we waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room and another 45 minutes after being brought back for her exam and cleaning. We had my daughter evaluated for oral restrictions. She was diagnosed with a lip tie and we were told surgery wasn't necessary and they would reevaluate in a year. After a second consultation with a different dentist, we found out she is a candidate for surgery. We received more information than Creston ever bothered to give us. I wouldn't recommend Creston unless you enjoy cancelled appointments, waiting for long periods of time, and a lack of communication or accountability."
"Had my 3rd molars extracted. They were perfect with directions and then extraction itself was amazing. The staff are all so friendly and actually seem like real people compared to the robots you’ll encounter at other dentists. The front lady is kind and is fast. They got me in and out quick for a cleaning today and did an X-ray. I will contribute to use Kreston Dental."
