"I had my first appointment with Family Dental Care of Powdersville with Dr. Wellman. I had broken a back molar. He removed the broken molar and gave me thorough advice on how to care for it as it healed. The staff was very good too."

"First off I’d like to say that my review is not based on the staff. I love Dr. Sibal as well as the hygienists and office staff I have interacted with. As someone who has had many bad experiences with dentists, I have so appreciated the care I have received here in the past. My review is solely for the scheduling of this office. I have been a patient for 3-4 years here and up until the last year never had any issues. However, in May of this year I was scheduled for a 6 month cleaning/check up that I needed to reschedule due to going out of town. I was told the next available appointment was not until December, which would mean I would go a whole year without a check up. I made the appointment and they told me not to worry, they’d put me on a schedule ASAP list for any cancellations and with that I should get in before December. Well, my appointment finally came for December, with no call to get in earlier, and they called the morning of to let me know my hygienist had to leave early due to being sick, so they needed to reschedule my appointment. When I called to reschedule the only appointment available was a Wednesday at 8am. I told them I could not make that due to my work schedule and they informed me the next available appointment would be in May. It’s outrageous how booked their office is, especially for current patients and especially when they’re the ones rescheduling. I completely understand a staff member leaving due to illness but it is frankly unacceptable to leave a patient without an appointment for 1.5 years due to being so booked out. I have 2 weekdays of complete open availability that they are unable to make an appointment for a 45 minute cleaning. I contacted another office with similarly high reviews to this office and they were able to get me in as a new patient in 2 months. I’m really disappointed as I love this dental clinic, and have recommended many friends and family members to, but I do not feel valued or taken care of. If you decide to join this office be aware that you are at the mercy of their schedule, and if you are a working individual they may not be able to accommodate your needs."

"Family Dental Care goes out of their way to take excellent care of not only my teeth and oral health but also to calm the fear and anxiety of dental visits I’ve had since childhood. They have helped to ensure my physical comfort from health issues are seen to during the entire visits. I love all of the people working at this office. They’ve made dental visits more of a pleasure than I ever thought they could be. And my teeth are fantastic!"
