"Look, this is a pool bar. They are not supposed to look like the inside of a Ritz-Carlton they are supposed to be outdoor lively places with great staff. That's what this place is. Limited menu, but good food, open air, great drinks, beautiful location, and friendly staff. What else could you want. Walk up from the beach, ride your bikes down from the street, or walk over from the shopping center. Don't care how you get there. Just get there. You won't be sorry."
"What a cool gem! I had one of the next drinks I’ve ever had there. My boyfriend had a traditional math. My drink had bananas, strawberry purée and pina coloda. Be prepared to spend a lot. Our two drinks were $26. But the atmosphere and views were worth the experience. They do close at 8 so make sure you plan to get there before they close."
"If you are in Hilton Head Island, you must make a trip to Coligny Beach to visit the awesome staff at Pool bar Jim's. Not only are they the best, they make great drinks. Their frozen concoctions are out of this world delicious. Our next trip I will be there every day. It was our favorite. Great location, great staff and amazing drinks. Next time we need to try food too."
"An informal beach bar with a friendly atmosphere. The bartenders are very good at what they do, those exotic cocktails, you decide what you want to drink. The food is nothing special. It's always full, which makes the bar less comfortable. You'll be more comfortable on the terrace, even if the breeze doesn't come. The entrance is also a bit strange from the parking lot. I think they would have to invest and make renovations."
"Great outdoor bar with outstanding drinks and service. The specialty is frozen, tropical and exotic cocktails but cold beer and regular drinks are also great. The bartenders are a great crew, friendly and talented. Jim is great to speak with! The attached restaurant has a great grouper sandwich as well as wings, burgers other offerings. I love the house salad with grilled chicken. The sweet tea glazed chicken breast sandwich is amazing! The bar closes at 8pm and the restaurant stops serving at 6pm so come early or just walk up from the beach and spend a pleasant afternoon with a Pina Colada!"
