Birding by Boat

"We took this tour in the fall and we are so glad we did! Adam took us out on the water early, when the sun was coming up; it was so incredible to see the birds wake up with the sunrise as the fog was lifting off the water. We saw at least a dozen different kinds of birds, including some osprey, ibis, and pelicans, and with a quieter, smaller vessel, we were able to get fairly close to them all, too. Adam had an amazing knowledge of the waterways and the birds in the area, and we were able to tour a lot of backwater ways to see some smaller woodland species, as well. We will most definitely be doing this again in the spring when there are different birds to see. We highly recommend booking this tour, and opting to go early!"

We’ve been coming to Charleston for years, and this was the perfect way for us to see Charleston and all its wildlife in a new way. We will definitely be doing this again!"

"We went out with Captain Adam on our first visit to Charleston. He was very knowledgeable about tides and the best time to see some birds in the sandbars. He met us on time and the boat was very comfortable for 2 people. He even dropped us off at a different marina to be able to go into Sullivan’s Island afterwards for dinner. "Had Adam take me out at sunrise to photograph birds. We started off cruising up the creeks. The rising sun lighting up the marsh was stunning and made for a beautiful backdrop for bird photography. Later in the morning we cruised out into the harbor to see the sights of Charleston from the water. Adam is very knowledgeable of the area was willing to custom the trip for what I wanted to see."
