Schooner Pride

"We've been on two sails with the Schooner Pride, and both were a great time. I loved the experience of sailing out in Charleston Harbor without the responsibility of taking a boat out there myself. We saw dolphins on both occasions, but maybe the most exciting thing we saw was a spontaneous sailing race break out amongst about 10 boats that were out on the harbor. We also had a great view of the Arthur Ravenel Bridge, mansions that line the battery, and Fort Sumpter from the boat. Both times we had quite an entertaining crew. Drinks are served once you're out on the water and there's a bathroom available downstairs. The crew accepts tips when exiting the boat."

"The staff is friendly and polite, and they offer snacks and drinks as well as recruiting volunteers to help raise the sails. However, they advertise as dolphin tours, and we didn't see a single dolphin after we left the dock. You'll likely see more dolphins by simply standing on the dock. It's simply a tour of the bay."

"My husband and our friends took a sunset cruise on the Schooner Pride. It didn’t disappoint. Beautiful weather, gorgeous views of Charleston, Castle Pinckney, and the USS Yorktown. Highly recommend!!!"

"We did the Charleston harbor tour. The only reason this is not a 5-star is because they do-not get close to any monument or even go under the bridge. Disappointed with that. They just went in circles covering almost the same area every time. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and nice. It was not a sunny day, so the sunset was not great, but it was still very relaxing to be on the boat. We also saw so many dolphins which was amazing."

"Love, love, love! We went out at 10:30am, and had beautiful weather and scenery. The staff is friendly and informative of the surrounding areas and attractions. They take volunteers to help assist with raising the sail, which was really cool, they offer drinks and you can bring your own snacks, we got to see a lot of dolphins. Definitely recommend if you are in Charleston, great for all ages!"
