Reviews of Mike and Lynnell estate sales
"BEWARE!!! These people left the water on a after selling the washer and flooded my mom’s house which caused $10k in damages. They then tried hiding the severity since I live out of state and tried cleaning themselves and caused more damage. Never apologized or offered to pay anything."
"Mike and Lynelle have the best estate sales ! I've been attending them for the past 8 years before I had to move out of state. I enjoyed my many adventures driving early to sales to get the perfect item I wanted :) They price fairly always have goodies for customers (love the cookies!) And are nice and talk with the customers. There is a reason they book months in advance! I'll miss you all ! Thanks for all.the great memories"
"Mike and Lynnell are a gift from God! It is the truth. We were overwhelmed and scared. No clue what to do with my husband's parents estate. They were an answer to our prayers. We truly believe they are fulfilling a calling and that is ministry. So thankful for their insight, wisdom, experience, and caring way. I highly recommend them."
"We frequent estate sales in the general Augusta area every week. Hands down, this is the best estate sale company in the CSRA. Their sales are consistently well organized and handled in a professional manner. In our experience, Mike, Lynnell, and their crew have without fail been friendly, helpful and dedicated to providing a pleasant experience for their customers."
"Great for Buyers not so much for the Seller. I used them because they were suggested by the realtor who helped my Dad buy his house. I spoke with them on the phone, and the person I spoke with said they got into the business because they had a relative whose items went into an estate sale were priced low. That the family was taken advantage of, so I felt they would respect my father's things. The were very pleasant and worked hard setting things up, they really worked hard. I could have never done what they did to set things up for the sell. They went through every area placing thing up and even cleaning out unnecessary items, like old flyers papers. But they sold many of my items way too low. Before the sell takes place ask to do a walk through to make sure your items are priced fairly. Some prices I asked to be increased, like my Boise radio/CD payer/Bluetooth initially priced at $25 I asked to be increased to $125. Some I increased myself, but was too nervous to increase them to a prices that was really reasonable, because I didn't want violate any possible rules of the company. So some items I missed increasing like my Dad's mini fridge with a freezer. I had a blower that should have garnered at least $80 to $100 dollars priced at $45 and who know how much the pressure washer sold for. When your emotional and dealing with loss, and trying to handle things long distance and other issues, have someone with you that can think more clearly. This was my first time having to deal with this, and hopefully my last. So I wasn't sure how things should be done when having a company work for you like this. I wanted to share this early on, but I am the type I don't like offending people and doing anything that may be detrimental to someone. But I am writing this for the person who may need this type assistance so they can get a clear picture of what they may need to do to ensure their items sell fairly. In hindsight I should have fought harder, but I didn't want them to feel like I was telling them how to do their job. I didn't want to offend them. Check out multiple companies and really vet them, ask for references of sellers. Check on how things are priced in various neighborhoods and with different people. But, if you can get enough people to help you, research what needs to be done, pay any necessary fees, and do it yourself."
