"Captain Chris gave us a great trip. We did the the 3 hr beachcomber/fishing trip. My kids enjoyed the walk along the oyster shell banks. They asked Chris a lot of questions and he patiently answered them all. We caught a number of sharks and were able to land a larger bonnet head. It was a great trip and I would definitely recommend a trip with Captain Chris!"

"Captain Chris was a fantastic tour guide! He was so knowledgeable about dolphin’s strand feeding habits and really took the time to show us around the areas of interest. He studied the tides and while out with him we were able to see 10 feedings from a pod with about 4 dolphins. The sun was too bright so unfortunately none of the videos I took came out but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our 6 year old son loved the time with Captain Chris. Captain Chris taught our son how to catch his first fish. He also used a net to catch some fish and threw it into the deck for our son to put into the live tank. I highly recommend a private tour with Captain Chris for a thoroughly enjoyable and educational experience. He truly knows his stuff and the area he calls home."

"We've been on two boat tours of Hilton Head Island with Captain Chris twice now and cannot recommend it enough! He is so incredibly knowledgeable about the island, ecosystem, and wildlife of the area. It's amazing how much can be packed into a tour -- from fishing, exploring, sightseeing, and even catching sharks! We've seen dolphins, sea turtles, crabs, starfish, pufferfish, blue herons, stingrays, just to name a few. On top of it all, Captain Chris is so good with kids and takes the time to explain everything and has the patience to answer every single question asked! "We were so excited to find out that Captain Chris had returned from Alaska and was guiding fishing tours out of HHI again. We went on a four hour fishing trip (with a little customization) with our 11 and 9 year olds. Captain Chris took us to see where the dolphins strand feed which was so awesome! It’s amazing how much he knows about the waters and nature around the island and how he communicates that with all ages. He helped the kids learn more about fishing and they were able to catch the bait fish/shrimp all the way to sharks. We plan to go out with him again and recommend him to all groups especially ones with adventurous children."

"I looked into to several different fishing trips before deciding on Capt Chris, I really liked that is was a one on one experience instead of 100 people on a big charter boat! We had never done a fishing trip so we didn't really know what to expect, Capt Chris went above and beyond any and all expectations! It was my kids ages 4, 7, 10 and my husband and I on the trip. It has been 7 months since our trip and my kids have not stopped talking about it! Every fish my 4 yr old caught he named George, he still talks about all of his George fish! They caught several fish, sharks and even a stingray! While we were on our way out, Sandy the dolphin swam right beside the boat and it was so amazing for her to be that close. Capt Chris was so patient with the kids and so knowledgeable, we could not have ask for a better experience! We are looking forward to our next trip and have already said an excursion with Capt Chris is a must do every time in Hilton Head!!"
