"We had a wonderful sail with Captain Jack. He was a wonderful captain, the Palmetto Tides was a great boat and we were lucky and saw tons of dolphins!"
"The best 50th Birthday gift was with my friends and Captain Jack! To dancing, seeing dolphins along with the most beautiful sunset. Thank you Captain Jack for everything!"
"Captain Jack is a remarkable sailor and guide. Our family group of 3 were provided a very comfortable and peaceful afternoon boat ride, stories and facts of historical data about the area, views of a shrimp boat and other vessels along our way, and sightings of dolphins. He answered every question we had with his first-hand knowledge of every detail; this was a one-of-a-kind trip. I would very definitely recommend Captain Jack and his sailboat, The Palmetto Tide, to anyone anywhere near Seabrook Island or Bohicket Marina who has a few hours to enjoy his unique kind of hospitality. Much thanks for a job well done!"
"Charleston has been a family vacation destination for years. Captain Jack helped make this year one of the best! Relaxing, and fun for almost any age. Great group trip for up to 6 people. or just a couple. Jack was the consummate tour guide and captain. Interesting to listen to him describe the fascinating history and current highlights related to our route, but wasn't the "showman" type that tries to make the trip about them.Friendly to talk to with, and great about answering questions. Even let us steer the boat, and learn a bit about sailing. We got close to many dolphins, and Jack led us to a secret spot to see them strand feeding, where they come up all the way out of the water onto the beach! Also saw Bald Eagles, and lots of other wildlife. Beautiful tour, made us feel at home on his boat, and we have memories for a lifetime. We'll tell everyone we know to book this one in advance!"
