The sights were amazing, the tour was filled with so much information about the history of the town, which I love, but there was also light moments when we saw where certain films were filmed, and where certain stars stayed while in Beaufort. The tour was informative, fun, entertaining and just all around a great time. Our tour guide was so nice, funny, kind and answered all questions, all the while never missing a beat of the tour. "We had the best tour with Dale! I had been to Beaufort about 7 times before and never learned so much as on this tour. Not even our friends who live there knew what we knew. We really got to learn so much about a large portion of the houses and movements in this port city. I never knew how transformative Beaufort was in the course of US history, and that is not hyperbole. I actually got teary eyed learning about Robert Smalls. The woman behind us got off and bought a ticket for the next tour to go again, and if we had thentime we would have too! Take the tour once and then come back again just to soak it in. This is the best way to learn the history and geography of the area. And there is AC! If you get Dale, he's a treat himself and might even sing some old songs for you. Neither photos nor words capture the depths of what we learned."
