"Very nice facilities. I didn't see the entire grounds but from the places that I've seen it is a very nice place and they are upgrading the area so it is only going to get better!"
"Last year was a terrific experience. Great counselors, very organized, lots of activity around the camp. Drop offs and pick ups seamless. So my kid and I were looking forward to another great year. Didn’t start off to great. First off I received email of drop off times from 7am-8:30am. I arrived at 7:30am to a new security gate. The camp looked vacant and gate was closed so hit the call button and wait. And wait. Didn’t get an answer. So looked in email to make sure I had correct drop off time. And called number in email. Finally got someone on phone and said they’d be there shortly. Waited in the car at the gate for 30 minutes in a car with a 9 and 7 year old wondering “why no one was opening the gate” and “when was camp starting.” Wasn’t a good start to the camp experience. Finally counselor came and I asked when I should bring them.. was told a better time was around 8:30am.. Why send out an email for one time if no one is going to be there? So.. left them with counselor in the office.. and told them I’d pick them up at 4pm. Arrive at 4pm.. again have to push gate buzzer and wait several minutes for someone to answer. Counselor tells me to go to office to pick kids up. Go to the office, no one is there.. so wait for kids to arrive. Rest of the days was sorta the thing. One morning go to the gym and no one is there so wait for someone to leave the kids with. It did get better later in the week. The kids had fun which is the most important thing. Final day I pick them up... again kids had a good time, and as we leave I ask if they have their camp shirts. A counselor informed me that: “Oh.. about that. We didn’t have enough in the budget for all the kids to be T-shirts.” ??? So I left confused. We pay $175-200 bucks for camp. That I would assume pays for counselors, facility expenses, supplies and yes.. a camp shirt that I selected a size on the form for. Did they run out of money? Do I get a partial refund for not receiving the shirt? Why do some kids get shirts and others don’t? Just didn’t understand any of it. I’m hoping next year if we decide to register would be a little more put together especially with morning drop offs. Yes the kids had fun, but the parents left frustrated."
"I didn't get to see the whole area. What I saw was nice. The roads leading into the camp are awful. I'm not sure who's responsibility the roads are but they really need to be fixed."
"Still under construction. Very nice facility. Excellent cabins"
