"Pisgah has Angels that care about me, as a person and my dignity as a human. This is my second time using their legal services. As with anytime a person needs legal help, there's always stress, and uncertainty about the case. I found that talking with a paralegal, then Attorney David Bartholomew, I felt some hope and faith that help was on the way. I've gathered as much medical paperwork as possible and will be hopefully getting the "legal representation" that I want/need so much. Pisgah's help brings me some peace & hope, which is need so badly. I have PTSD and high stress levels and a "runaway train" landlord. I pay all my bills, on time, but my small Border Collie that growled and showed her teeth, she was protecting our BORDERS, which is what they do for a living. B. C. are a soft mouth dogs and she was just guarding our open door while I was unloading my car. I was given orders to get rid, put down or move. I'm devastated by this whole conundrum. I pray for poetic justice in this legal case. Quit picking on my 30 lb. Cometbug woof. Can't have a gun here, so I have a Border Collie. That's fair. L. E. S. n Cometbug woof. "Not sure if everyone is familiar with this organization but it is a group of paid attorneys hoodoo low-cost and free legal assistance for low-income individuals facing a variety of issues but mainly they focus on things like eviction, health insurance and disability. Your qualifications are mainly by income if not totally. You would be hard-pressed to get them to work on anything other than the areas mentioned above although their website lists other areas however, they will quickly tell you that I do not handle those types of cases. And they also do not handle any cases whatsoever, against anyone else. Pisgah legal services and their attorneys will not help you if you have been wronged in any way or perhaps would be seeking damages or to right a wrong. Some people will tell you that their attorneys are volunteer attorneys but very very few volunteer attorneys will come through their organization. Pisgah Legal Services are very unorganized and mostly unprofessional for lack of a better term. Most of the time when you think of an attorney to represent you and your legal issue you expect that the attorney will be pretty knowledgeable on the subject oh, not so with his de Legal Services. I have found that they cannot handle multiple clients and easily become overwhelmed resulting in the client suffering because of this. More than once I have found myself in the position which I myself had to explain 1 or more NC Laws to the attorney. 98% of the time when attorney assistance is needed, it's not something that can be placed on the back burner. It's pretty pressing and somewhat stressful to say the least."
