Green River Game Lands

"Green River Cove Trail in the Green River Game Land is always a great hike beside the rushing river. Always good to get it in the morning and have a little picnic at the halfway point at the boulders. The trail is well-marked and has a very easily accessible parking lot."

"We hiked the Pulliam Creek Trail. 6 mile out and back trail. Considered easy but the distance shouldake it moderate. It's beautiful there. Water cascading beside you most of the way."

"I love this place. Good way to get out on some trails while avoiding the crowds. The Green River gorge has pretty steep topography so get ready to feel your calves. Waterfalls and creeks galore. Be sure to wear bright colors in fall as this is public hunting land."

"When in doubt hike it out! This Trail is great for you if you enjoy, a well-kept trail, great views, and if you're up for it; great waterfalls. The hike down Steeps is a bit rough, but well worth it."

"The drive down to the river from Saluda, NC is a bit daunting but the river is worth the drive. Great for kayaking, tubing, photography, picnicking, and just enjoying being outside. Typically not over crowded."
