"I was a little disappointed with how everything went for my son’s party. I initially requested a package with no party room, as we were not going to use it. They were kind to reserve 2 tables for us, which was great. They told me they will have me on a pay as I go deal, which was perfect because I didn’t know how many people would show. I was assuming when they came in, they would say they are with my son’s party and all guests would be asked how many are skating and how many are playing to get wristbands and tickets. However, they only gave out tickets to me initially (about 6) and then after that they were only giving out tickets to the families- no wristbands. I had to run back and forth to ask for them every time someone in my party came in- which caused me to not enjoy my guests. It was very unorganized. So finally, I asked the front to just hand them out to the kids as they come in- which shouldn’t have been an issue. Then there was a large man near the play area that was literally yelling at kids, and also made my friend LEAVE because he was yelling at her autistic daughter who wouldn’t keep her socks on. It was extremely unprofessional, and if I would have heard this during my party I would have not only addressed it with him but also the manager. I understand rules are rules, but he could have approached her mom who was there the whole time instead of yelling at the CHILD, as well as others around. I have come to this location for other kids birthday parties and it was more relaxed, organized, and kids were not getting yelled at and threatened to be thrown out. I didn’t envision my guest that I PAID FOR to leave after 10 minutes. The rest of the staff was great and super attentive (only reason for the 3 stars) and the pizza was wonderful. Overall, I will not come here again."
"I've been frequenting Roebuck Family Skate Center since I was a kid. Now I go with my kids and have thrown them many birthday parties here. Everyone always has a great time. You can't go wrong with Roebuck Family Skate Center!"
