Reviews
"Tailgate location and landmark on Clemson University. Beautiful location."
"No waiting for a free guided tour on a Sunday afternoon. Very interesting and informative - though it focused more on Clemson than Calhoun. There's pay parking right in front- $2.25 for an hour."
"The house and the overall experience was very fun. We walked in not knowing anything about the place and left well educated about the man, (John C. Calhoun) and his household objects. Our guide was nice about answering questions and made it a quick tour."
"Went on a tour and our tour guide Charleigh was well educated. Having a guide made the tour more educational and I learned a lot. Was really neat. A gem in Clemson filled with History."
"This is like a secret island in the middle of the Clemson University campus. A tour guide pointed it out for its relevance (tear it down and the University loses its charter), and we went back for a free tour. The house was built in stages and has many unique artifacts. Whether you're into history or architecture, there's something to see. The staff is trying to elevate the house's status as a museum, so drop in and help them with a visitor survey."
