"Warning, before booking your hard earned money with this host, be sure to really vet them, and heed any red flags and bad feelings you get from your communication with them. Please do not make the same mistake we did. As a family, it is our goal when going on vacation to relax and get away from the stresses of life. We save our money for months, and spend more than bargain prices to do so. We spend many hours researching the best places, however, some things you do not know to look for until you have experienced it. So here is my advice. Run away from people who threaten to charge you fees at every turn. Run fast from condescending instructions and language. Run fast from prices that aren't up front, and from listings that claim to be one price, to hook you, and then once you're already invested in the process, are presented with unadvertised /hidden, confusing fees for "additional guests", even though, the listing advertises the amount of sleepers you have. Please run, when the host over explains things to you as if you are stupid, and he is the all knowing VRBO host god. Please don't be bullied into believing "this is how it's done". If you are good guests, and have intentions to take care, and don't think it's good business to inundate your guests' with threats of being charged additional money for using the house, but would like to walk into your vacation and relax, my advice is don't book with this host. If you choose to spend extra money on property with a hot tub to relax in, but would not want to be stressed over the possibility of being charged $1500 if the tub is "dirty" after your stay, please do not book this host. Believe us, it's hard to relax. If you want to enjoy making home cooked meals for your family without needing to stress over how you will handle the clean up of a cheap stove top to avoid another possible charge, because a previous guest already (according to the page long note left to us by the owners) scratched up while trying to clean up their home cooked meal, please do not book this host. If you expect to pay a cleaning fee as part of your stay and on the last day, expect to pack up your stuff, take out the trash, and vacuum around, but do not expect to clean the house cleaner than you arrived; under furniture etc, then run away from this host. If you expect to do everything you can after reading the pages and pages of threats posted around the house to not incur extra fees/charges - please don't - in our experience it's pretty much a given this host will find a way to do so. The bottom line is this host is really full of himself, and unless he makes some serious changes to the customer service part of his business, I'm confident if you proceed with a booking with him, you too, will see it. Honestly, all you have to do is read his VRBO listing to see what I mean. I hope this helps whoever has continued to read this far, I know it's long. I've taken the time to type this out, here on google, because it is my fear that my "official VRBO" review will not make it to the listing. I fear that the legitimacy of VRBO in reporting bad experiences is not what we as consumers expect. There is no way this guy has ALL 5 stars, he has not once tried to be professional with us, as if he has no concern for a bad review."
