Reviews of First Peak Visitor Center (Polk County Travel and Tourism)
"The ladies at the First Peak Visitor Center were absolutely fantastic. They were well versed in the area and gave us wonderful information. They provided handouts that gave us further information about places we wanted to go. One such handout was a map on which they highlighted the way we should go to get to our next destination, Pearson's Falls. It made it really easy to get there. Travelers are so very lucky to have this visitor center and the wonderful ladies who work there. Charlotte S."
"The lady their was very helpful and even helped me find a hidden jewel on the map."
"Very friendly lots of information"
"Very nice visitor center with plenty of brochures from surrounding cities and sites to choose from. Helpful staff on hand for suggestions or to answer any questions you may have. Lots to see!"
"Found as you come into town. They have an area at the front that is always open in case the main center is closes that has a lot of fliers of local actives in the area. The women was very helpful. I was teaching in the area and wanted to find what was the nearest waterfalls and she directed to me a flier on the Pearson Falls Gate House. I also leaned about the Flag Museum and the county Museum in town that are free. I enjoyed all of them."
