Lowes Foods of Mount Pleasant

"I used to love this store, but something is wrong of late. No one working checkout so you have no choice but to self-checkout even if you have 30 items. At these prices, it’s not unreasonable to expect someone to scan and bag your groceries. But most egregious is the drastic decline in the quality of the meat. Last time I was in there, I couldn’t even find a USDA Choice steak…the best they had was Select…and if I want that I’ll go to Food Lion. I’m .rating 3 stars because of what this store used to be…today, unfortunately, it probably deserves 2. I hope someone in Lowe’s management sees this and can turn this place around."

"Went to Lowes for some groceries and was happy about their produce department, fresh and decent prices. Everything was great until I had my final encounter with Margie. She was rude and nasty. I was talking to another employee when she jumped in with HER RUDE comments. Won't be back."

"Welcome to Mt. Pleasant!! It is their grand opening and only time will tell what the future will bring but so far so good! They have a huge selection on about everything you would need. Produce, baked goods, sausage station, large deli and a beer den just for starters. There are a lot of unique items as well such as you can buy mixed vegetables like squash, onions, and peppers chopped up by the pound. Just make sure you get their rewards card because it does make a huge difference in what you will pay. My wife and I were very pleased with everything, especially the prices, and will certainly be back. I do feel sorry for Harris Teeter as they will feel the hit from a much cleaner and well stocked grocery store across the street."
