"They provided a payout on an injury, sure, but they maxed out at 33% of takings from what I earned for treatment. I genuinely needed the funds from my case..as it was, guess what, for future treatment. Either they don't believe my sleepless nights or they just are greedy, it can only be one of two. I only accepted the deal as I trusted them. Biggest mistake. Do more research before deciding on Joye. The state statute says they can take, at max, 33%. Which, they do. That action alone shows how much those suffering on a daily basis means to them. They want every cent. Anything they decide on is for their own pocket and not the bettering of your situation. I agreed on a sum, thinking they'd take 10% or 20% so that I could live my life after having to give up my entire career after my injuries... But no, 33% is what they felt was good, and now I could never afford what the doctors said I need in the future. I barely saw half of what I agreed on. Yes, I know it's all for profit with them, but maxing out to state statute? Disgusting. That's someone utilizing a poor situation for their advantage in an egregious manner. They intentionally left out my personal earnings, after deductions, during the settlement after deductions, then rushing me to accept within 30 minutes of sending the final paperwork so they could gain more. I was on the phone with work when they sent the paperwork, and they called multiple times, making me feel pressured. Ask your percentages and find someone that genuinely cares."
