Tiki Taco

"It was okay. I've had way better authentic Mexican before. I can't complain much because they gave me what I asked for but as far as the taste it was just mediocre. It's close by my house so that is a plus."

"I Normally have a great experience at this Tiki Taco. It started off good. It was Bingo night. Our food was just delivered. My husband had a big bowl of soup. We were playing bingo and hadn't had the opportunity to eat much because we were busy dotting our numbers! My husband had about 2 sips of his soup-it had to cool down bc it was scalding hot. Then we got a bingo. Our 6 yr old daughter excitedly walked up and got her prize. On the way back to climb into the huge booth her hand slipped and her entire elbow and arm went into that scolding hot soup. I jumped up grabbed her and ran to the bathroom and took her clothes off to avoid the heat sitting on her skin too long. Thank God the jacket she had on was a thick Jean jacket otherwise she would have to go to the hospital for burns. Her arm is fine very minor injury and a few tears. Came back to the table they were still trying to clean it up. Never asked if my daughter was OK. My husband ate my tacos bc they didn't offer another soup. It was disturbing. Hospitality goes a long way. Thank god bingo was there. That took our minds off being upset. Super great dude doing the bingo! Go on Mondays for the bingo."

"Atmosphere was great, love the theme and decor! Giant macaw in corner over pinball machine was my favorite touch! I didn't really enjoy the fajitas as much as I thought I would, felt the seasoning was kind of bland. Did not like salsa that came with chips either, too much cilantro & large onion chunks, way over powered tomato. I prefer the onion diced*, smaller bits. My group was appalled by our server who did not separate out checks, as we asked at start of the meal & who was also putting up decorations at the end of our meal_ did not bring us our check. After waiting a while, guest from our group went to go ask for it - server continued to work on the decorating, for another 5 minutes_rather than stop and allow us to pay for our meals. Ordinarily not a big deal, but it was end of the night & getting late - some people have bed times, man ! I just thought, if a guest has to get up from the table & come ask you for the check, please do it right away. You have failed at your task list, serving your customers priority as a waitress. Their meal is not complete, until you have allowed them to *pay & basically hostage to you. Not cool"

"Meh...it seems to be worse everything I come in...every Mexican restaurant gives chips and salsa. I didn't automatically get any this time. I was told there is a charge for them. Drinks are overpriced.. the tacos were ok. They have been better...and fresher. Happy hour is a joke, 50cents off a small margaritas. Third time here So, may or may not be back."
