Kobe Hibachi Grill & Sushi

"I ordered the 3 roll Kobe meal, which should’ve been spicy salmon, eel and avocado, and tuna avocado. I received 16 pieces of avocado wrapped in rice and 6 pieces of salmon, not prepared as ordered."

"It's a really good hibachi bistro. I thoroughly enjoyed the piping hot food served to me at my table in a very timely manner. The hibachi was excellent, the vegetables fresh and cooked well. The sushi was a little shy on rice but tons of filling."

"This place is a hidden gem and I love it. We come here at least once a month and sometimes get it delivered through door dash, it’s always been great. As far as people saying it’s dirty-they’re always busy and I’ve never had an issue with having a clean table or staff member willing to help us with anything. We love the steak yakisoba the best but I’ve never had anything that was bad. Thanks Kobe !"

"I have been here many times and the food is always quite good. The thing that bothers me is how the general upkeep and cleanliness have fallen over the last couple of years. The tables, benches, and chairs are in various states of disrepair. Many of the tables have graffiti carved into them, including profanity. Reminds me of an old set of bleachers. The younger staff that takes orders is often playing on their phones while sitting at the tables that should be reserved for customers while not on break. They should be focused on cleaning. When tables are cleaned, they use one small rag and wipe everything with it, table, condiment bottles, etc., leaving almost everything at the tables sticky. But the main reason I am writing this review is for the roaches I have seen the last couple of times I have visited. The last time I wrote it off as a one-time thing but it has happened again. I just can't bring myself to keep visiting here without a decent attempt from staff and ownership to clean the place up. I posted a few pictures I snapped while here on February 3rd, 2023."

"This was our first time trying Kobe as it was recommended by another local. First impression walking in was, it a little dirty but it smells delicious! While trying to figure out what to order there was about 3 call in pick ups which we just let go in front of us (we weren’t in a hurry, it was 6pm). After we ordered we grabbed a table. The table could have used a good wipe down. We had barely gotten comfortable in the booth and our food was being served! Everything was super hot and super delicious. The other reviews are not wrong, the noodles are so good. The Godzilla roll was so good. The miso was good, but a little earthy for my taste. Dumplings on point! Over all was great and we’re for sure going to keep eating there… OPE, just like the Midwest."
