"Initial impressions: We walked up to a bag of trash that had been torn open on the landing. It appeared that no one had blown leaves or power washed the exterior in a very long time. We had two couples staying and we like to spend time outside. The porch and deck were so dirty -- full of leaves, oak pollen, and cobwebs that we couldn't bear it. The roaches/palmetto bugs were horrible. We live in the Charleston area. We know they can be a problem but with regular pest service, they can be controlled. In the evenings there were dozens scattering about the deck and stairs and we encountered 3 inside as well during our two-night stay. The area is beautiful but I would never stay in the villas here again."
