"I can’t speak for any of the other members of this law firm, but Lorenzo Merritt is the last attorney that you would ever want to hire. He's just an opportunist. He doesn't care about your case. He cares about getting money in his pocket. Oh he’s really fast to return your phone call and take your retainer, even though he has no intention of putting on any kind of a defense and wouldn’t know how to win in the first place. He’s rude. He’s lazy. He’s incompetent. And it’s hard to believe he graduated from Harvard, but thanks to affirmative action he was able to go. As far as I’m concerned there is only one decent attorney in Statesboro. It sure isn’t Lorenzo Merritt. He is an unbelievably weak lawyer. There's no other way to describe him."
