"My now husband had Ashby Jones as his lawyer in his divorce. She is the most snobby know it all attorney I have ever met. She drained him of thousands upon thousands and acted like she was actually on the side of his soon to be ex wife. It lasted way longer than it should have…longer than the year it’s supposed to. She was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL in the courthouse hallway on the day of the divorce proceedings. I was there to show support to my boyfriend(now husband) and she was fine with it…until the now ex and her sister and her lawyer came in and until almost time for the proceeding. We weren’t anywhere close to his ex and her lawyer but Ashby told me very loudly I needed to wait outside instead of in the hallway…I guess she didn’t want to upset the soon to be ex wife. Then as the bailiff called the parties in the courtroom she and my boyfriend were walking down the hall and she was very loudly FUSSING at him like a little child and called MY name out in her chastisement of him. My boyfriends ex and her sister heard my name(they didn’t know it before this) and I was stalked on Facebook by the sister when we got home. So unprofessional and unethical. My boyfriend didn’t realize something in the settlement agreement was taking place (in fact he adamantly told her from the beginning he didn’t want this to take place and it was in all his notes) but it was in the agreement just 2 weeks prior to the divorce proceedings. She told him if he didn’t agree she would drop him as a lawyer. She didn’t want to negotiate anymore with the other lawyer…she said it would be unethical. He had given her thousands and would have to pay the ex’s attorney again if he chose to get another lawyer or if she dropped him. She didn’t fight for him…she fought for her pocketbook and for his ex in our opinion. We have all the emails and messages. NEVER use this lawyer especially if you are a man in a divorce case who has plenty of money . Because she will drain you and give herself some and your ex the rest."
