"My family was recommended to MP Morris Law Firm by a family member. We were interested in doing an immigration case. In the beginning which was 2020, everything was perfectly fine. Once COVID-19 began, we understood that businesses were closing due to the pandemic and that there would be a delay. Being said the process was delayed some, but not because of USCIS but because of lack of organization as well. After not hearing from them for a while now 2021 I finally reached out to them and asked them if they had any updates, and to ask them why we had to sign everything all over again. Their response was that they had no idea what was going on with the case, the paralegal that was handling the case previously was no longer employed by the office and no notes were left to know where the case stood at that point. Which we understood. My mother who is a Spanish speaker often times would call the office and would never receive a direct response, she was always told that they would call her back but she would never receive a call back. Not only were they handling my moms case but they were supposed to be handling my dads. In 2021 I find out that nothing had been done to begin my dads case and that they could no longer take new clients. My dad lost a whole year of starting his immigration process. This office has lack of communication, no ethical standards, and are not considerate of the hardships their clients face. My mother was once told by the previous paralegal that her case was not that important and that there were plenty of other cases that were more important. If she wanted she could hire another attorney. My mom has paid them in full and are no longer with them. My mom decided to get with another Attorney before MP Morris Law Firm messes her information up and causes her to get denied by USCIS or worse. They did not complete their job and have not refunded my mother any money for the inconvenience that it has caused my family."
