"My husband uses them for their work trucks (spends money money with Hay every year) so I thought, why not give them a try with one of our personal cars. They put new brakes, rotors and tires on my car in July (nearly 2,000$). The first set of brakes they put on were faulty. They were discolored after a few weeks and had to be replaced (would loudly squeak whenever I deployed them). I’ve been back 3 more times for squeaking brakes. Hay told we throughout this process that they just need to wear in. That they adjusted them. To give it time. Here we are in October and the squeaking continues. I went in last weekend and was told that there was nothing for them to do and to drive at 65 then brake hard with no one around to wear them down. After months of driving around with these brake pads, I still have to slam on them to wear them down to the point they won’t squeak?! (Video is from 10/24/23) The guys at the front desk aren’t that friendly either. Go elsewhere."

"A couple years ago, I switched to Hay from another local company that advertises on customer service. My service experience at Hay has been immensely better. The time estimates I get when dropping off my car are accurate. When the car is ready, I get a call, instead of me needing to call for status update. The receptionists recognize me when I return for my car. I bought a set of tires a couple years back. I might have paid more than a national chain (maybe not, I don't remember) but the follow-up service with two punctures has been great."
